International Decorative Services has extended its relationship with the Potter Group at its rail-connected centre in Ely after signing an imported timber distribution contract with the company.
The two businesses have been working together since 1993. The Ely centre currently provides more than 50,000 sq ft of storage for IDS board and panel products, as well as a dedicated office space for the company’s sales staff.
Under the new agreement, the Potter Group will take delivery of between five and eight container loads a week, which it will then distribute to IDS’s regional distribution centres. It expects to store around 2,500 pallets for the Saint Gobain-owned company.
