Masternaut Three X has launched a range of satellite-linked personal protection devices for workers on the road or working in remote locations.
M-Guard is a compact safety device that offers real-time personal tracking via the company’s GSM and GPRS networks. It incorporates an emergency assistance button, one-key dialling for two-way voice communication and real-time GPS location reporting.
Masternaut also offers a fixed in-cab system that connects to its Mobile Communications Unit. When pressed, an alert is sent to the designated SMS number or email address alerting the receiver of a problem with a pre-programmed message.
In addition, the Leeds-based company offers centrally-controlled remote monitoring to alert fleet managers of unusual activity such as theft or hijacking, which can also be triggered if the vehicle enters an area that is deemed unsafe or has not been authorised.
