Nissan Forklift has appointed former national sales manager Geoff Phillips as general manager in the UK following Brendon Sparks’ retirement.
Phillips originally joined the company in 1991 after Nissan created its own distributor network. In the 16 years preceding, he held similar roles with forklift truck manufacturers in the UK and South Africa.
Nissan Forklift is currently going through a period of expansion and plans to restructure its dealer network in the UK.
Phillips said: “This year alone we will see further growth of our warehouse offering following the acquisition of Atlet, together with a raft of new forklift products and increasingly green technology.”
