Secureseal has launched an electronic hubodometer intended to make it easier for companies to keep track of how far trailers have travelled by accurately recording wheel revolutions.
Unlike mechanical devices, the meter is designed to fit any size of tyre and can be programmed to measure distances in either miles or kilometres.
The electronic gauge features a large LCD screen and claims to offer four years of constant and consistent monitoring before the battery needs to be replaced.
It can be used to aid scheduling maintenance, leasing and fuel rebate claims.
