Developer Kenmore has secured planning consent from Hillingdon Council for the development of two distribution warehouses at Hayes Xchange, its new distribution/warehouse development near Heathrow Airport.
Located on a 7.1 acre site adjacent to the A312 Hayes bypass, and just half a mile from J3 of the M4, the two distribution warehouses of 69,400 sq ft and 91,750 sq ft will be suitable for both airport-related occupiers, and companies needing easy access to West London and the motorway network.
A start-on-site date is yet to be confirmed, but it is understood that 15-20 per cent of the on-site energy requirements will be provided from renewable sources, making it one of the most energy efficient schemes available. Green roofs/walls are also under consideration together with other environmentally friendly specification enhancements.
Daniel Williams, Kenmore’s development director, said: “There continues to be strong occupier demand for high quality affordable space near Heathrow Airport.”
CBRE and King Sturge are the retained agents for the scheme.
