Drinks manufacturer Britvic has extended its contract with Wincanton for a further two years, building on its nine-year relationship with the company.
The supply chain provider will continue to operate Britvic’s national distribution centre in Lutterworth, which it has been involved in since it opened in 1994, as well as handling its entire transport fleet.
Wincanton currently manages more than 180 million case movements each year for the company, transporting goods between its factories, warehouses and customer base.
Over the past two years Wincanton has also worked with the Pepsi and Robinsons maker to introduce backhauling, helping to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary road miles.
