Delta Air Lines has made several appointments within its international cargo team, in addition to opening new cargo sales offices in Frankfurt and Paris.
The company has appointed four account managers and one operation manager in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, who will be responsible for expanding and running of the airline’s cargo business.
Neil O’Sullivan and Jaswant Gill have been brought in as account managers at Delta’s London office and will be in charge of key cargo forwarders in London and southern England. Both will report to regional manager Peter Hannaford.
Tony Bunn has been appointed operations manager and will be responsible for cargo operations across the area, reporting to regional operations manager David Linford.
At the new Frankfurt office, led by regional manager Oliver Frey, Maurice Fuchs has joined the team as account manager, while Nathalie Garabige has been appointed account manager at the Paris office, which is led by Olivier de Causans.
All corporate accounts for Germany will now be handled at the Frankfurt office, which is located at the city’s airport. The new office sits alongside the reservation centre Delta has through its partnership with ECS Globe Air Cargo.
The Paris office will handle sales and reservations for the airline’s six flights from Paris-CDG, as well as Lyon and Nice departures.
Flavio Renfer, regional director, Western Europe, said: “Exports from Europe, Middle East and Africa accounted for 32 per cent of Delta cargo revenues last year. The new team members bring extensive experience and knowledge which will ensure that we have a robust team to extend Delta’s cargo business further across the region.”
