International logistics provider Dachser has opened a Swiss branch in Reinach near Basle, replacing its existing department in Glattbrugg, as it aims to consolidate it sea freight activities.
The new branch will also incorporate the Dachser Air & Sea Logistics sales office which was previously located in Birfelden. Air freight activities will continue to be handled in Zurich.
Andreas Ott is manager of the Basle branch and will continue to head up the Zurich-based sales team responsible for the whole of Switzerland.
Several appointments are expected to be made in the near future at the new location to reinforce the team.
