Aggregate Industries has changed the logistics model for its concrete products business to make use of multiple logistics partners to improve performance.
It said that by using multiple logistics partners, the new model offers improved delivery performance and increased flexibility to make life easier for the customer.
Head of logistics Shaun Elliott said: “We are always striving to provide excellent customer service, as well as great quality products and solutions. To help us achieve this, we regularly review our operations, suppliers and partners and explore new ways to improve our customers’ experience with us and make things easier for them.”
In 2016, Aggregate Industries awarded a five year contract to Eddie Stobart top handle logistics for the Concrete Products Division. As part of this latest move it has appointed Wincanton as primary logistics partner across most of its locations.
