Alloga, the healthcare logistics specialist, has taken a 250,000 sq ft warehouse at CWC’s Castlewood development near South Normanton.
It means Alloga, which is part of the Walgreen Boots Alliance, now has three buildings on the site totalling some 750,000 sq ft.
Alloga offers specialist storage, fulfilment and distribution services for pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, veterinary and consumer product manufacturing companies. It offers multi-temperature storage, stock management and order processing, as well as multi-temperature transport for both pallets and parcels. Its clinets include 20 of the top 50 pharmaceutical companies.
Other occupiers at the site, which is near junction 28 of the M1, include the Co-op, Parker Knoll, Midland Aerospace and Bombardier.
James Richards, development director at CWC, said: “With the site augmented a year or two ago with the addition of further facilities to include petrol filling station, Costa drive-thru, convenience store and Greggs outlet, we have seen even more interest come forward and more deals be agreed. The strength of demand has seen us now also speculatively construct a 72,000 sq ft warehouse where we hope to bring forward good news shortly as that nears completion while our agents continue to bring us design and build deals.”
