Geek+ has appointed AMH Material Handling as an official distributor for its robotic products in the UK.
The deal also sees AMH become a UK service partner for all new Geek+ customers in the UK, provide 24/7 national support.
Adrian Carter, projects director at AMH Material Handling, said: “Over the last few years automation within warehouses has become essential and, as part of this, we have seen a rise in the use of robotics and AI solutions. “This mutual interest led to both AMH Material Handling and Geek+ developing a close working relationship which has now seen AMH appointed as an official UK distributor as well as a service partner. Our team has received robust training about the technology allowing us to support and service UK customers.”
Carter said that AMH would now able to design, specify and deliver material handling and logistics solutions incorporating Geek+ technology, which would allow customers to maintain one single point of contact during the whole process from design through to installation.
“This is a really exciting partnership and we predict it will lead to the continuous advancement of automated installations for faster and more efficient supply chain solutions.”
Both AMH Material Handling (stand 722) and Geek+ (stand 430) will be at IntraLogisteX 2020, which will take place on 28 and 29 July at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. The exhibition was rescheduled in the light of the coronavirus pandemic.
