Appliances supplier AO is thought to have taken a 113,000 sq ft speculative warehouse in Crewe for expansion purposes.
It is believed to have signed a five year lease on the property from joint venture partners, Cheshire-based property company Quorum and Cabot Properties, a private equity real estate investment firm at a rent thought to be close to the quoting rent of £6.25 per sq ft.
The self-contained building, which sits on a six-acre site, was built by Caddick Construction and is adjacent to a 92,000 sq ft warehouse let to Warehouse One.
Known as Q110, a new-build distribution facility on Weston Road, near to Junction 16 and 17 of the M6 consists of 105,000 sq ft of warehouse space that could accommodate 15,900 pallets spaces (VNA) and 8,000 sq ft of two-storey offices.
It has 12.5m eaves as well as 10 dock and two level access doors. It has 20 HGV and 126 parking spaces as well as a 50m yard.
