ArrowXL, the two-person delivery company, has made Charlie Shiels interim chief executive, following the decision by Ian Howell to leave the business.
Shiels joined ArrowXL as chief operating officer in February 2017 from DPD where he spent over 20 years, including 15 years on the executive board.
He said: “This is an exciting time for ArrowXL as we invest heavily in our people and infrastructure and continue on our journey to consistently deliver market leading customer service. We are delighted that our replacement Droitwich Hub is now up and running and we are confident of delivering an excellent service to all our customers during the forthcoming peak period.”
Richard Neal, shareholder representative, said: “I would like to extend my personal thanks to Ian Howell for his excellent contribution and commitment to the business over the last four years and wish him every success for the future.”
