ASOS is investing $40 million in fitting out a new fulfilment centre in Atlanta, Georgia, to serve the North American market.
It is investing $40 million in fitting out the site, which will have a capacity of ten million units. It can expand further at the appropriate time.
Fit-out at the site in Union City on the outskirts of Atlanta is expected to start shortly with operations starting in Autumn 2018.
This fulfilment centre will significantly enhance ASOS’ US customer proposition providing more cost effective, faster and more flexible delivery options.
Chief executive Nick Beighton said: “This agreement is a major step forward for ASOS in the US and demonstrates the opportunity we believe lies ahead in this key market.
