Founded in 2015, Au Vodka has quickly grown in the alcoholic beverage market and now, as it looks to expand both in the UK and internationally, it has partnered with third-party logistics company Kammac to scale its logistics operation.
The flavoured vodka brand has seen turnover jump by a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 457% over the past two financial years, and has recently expanded into eight US states.
According to Kammac, this partnership will see the logistics company ‘oversee a comprehensive range of logistics operations for Au Vodka, managing the transportation and storage of its diverse lineup of flavoured vodkas, premixed cocktails, and slushies’. This, it says, includes ‘handling full-loads and UPN pallet network loads, as well as managing B2B deliveries directly to retailers’.
Chris Polding, Au Vodka’s COO, said: “As Au Vodka continues to expand at a rapid pace, Kammac’s logistical expertise and ability to scale with our operations are crucial. Their support will be instrumental in maintaining our growth momentum and achieving our objectives.”
Kammac has confirmed that this operation will span across two of its key facilities. At its Manchester 208 site, Kammac manages 44 SKUs with a current storage capacity of 3,958 pallets, which is projected to exceed 5,000 pallets, and handle an average of five containers per week.
Meanwhile, at its Skelmersdale M58 365 site, the company oversees approximately 60 SKUs with 675 racking spaces. At these sites, Kammac says that it will ‘ensure efficient storage and distribution of Au Vodka’s products across the UK and internationally’.
Ged Carabini, Kammac CEO, commented: “We are delighted to partner with the UK’s number-one premium vodka brand and support its continued growth. With a 35-year track record in managing complex logistics for a range of drinks clients, our expertise is second to none.
“We look forward to driving their continued success, ensuring their logistics operations are as on-brand as their premium spirits.”
