Packaging company Sealed Air will be showcasing its range of protective packaging solutions at the biggest intralogistics and warehousing trade show in the UK – IntraLogisteX 2023.
At this year’s exhibition at the NEC Birmingham, Sealed Air will be at stand i800, where its I-Pack void reduction system will be taking centre stage. The firm says that this boxing solution for retail and e-commerce order fulfilment ‘right-sizes corrugated cartons to each product, optimising material use whilst still providing optimum cushioning’.
This is designed to allow more boxes to fit in pallets or trucks to optimise space and cut costs.
Sealed Air’s focus on automation goes beyond I-Pack; visitors to the stand can expect to learn more about the company’s Autobag-brand automated packing solutions. These bagging systems include an integrated printer capable of printing high-resolution graphics, text, and barcodes directly onto bags, which Sealed Air believes can save both time and consumables.
At its stand, Sealed Air will display the tabletop Autobag PS 125 as well as the Autobag 850S, an automated bagging system for larger bags up to 550mm wide.
Sealed Air has been offering these systems since the company’s acquisition of Automated Packaging Systems, which invented Autobag, in 2019.
In addition to all of this, a selection of the company’s inflatable and paper packaging systems, including new films which are designed for recycling, will be on show in Birmingham on 28-29 March 2023.
Sealed Air (Stand i800) will be at IntraLogisteX on 28-29 March 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. For more information, visit www.intralogistex.co.uk.
