Bericote has pre-let its 450 unit thepowerhouse warehouse unit on the former Littlebrook power station site in Dartford to a well-known high quality retailer widely tipped to be Ikea.
The unit which is being built through a joint venture with Tritax Big Box, boasts a 427,490ft2 warehouse with 22,510ft2 three storey office and welfare space. It has a 21m eaves height with up to 5MvA of power available.
There are 68 dock and five level access doors as well as 144 trailer and 436 car parking spaces. It will be built to a BREEAM Excellent rating.
It is adjacent to where Amazon has pre-let a 2.3 million ft2 distribution centre.
A planning application was submitted in July for the next phase of the scheme, which includes a 300,000ft2Â logistics unit to be constructed to BREEAM Excellent and available for occupation Q3 2022.
