Poultry producer Bernard Matthews has extended its warehousing and distribution contract with Fowler Welch for two years and increased the volume of product that will be handled by 50 per cent.
The deal comes after the chicken and turkey specialist won a new supply contract with one of the UK’s largest retailers.
Clayton Kemp, head of warehousing and distribution at Bernard Matthews said: “Fowler Welch has offered us a high quality and reliable service for many years, regularly going above and beyond to maintain this standard. They manage our substantial Christmas peaks with no issue and are flexible in handling any late stock, which sets them apart from the competition.”
