Winners of the British International Freight Association’s Freight Service Awards 2014 have been announced at a ceremony held in central London.
More than 500 guests attended BIFA’s 26th Freight Service Awards luncheon, held at The Brewery close to London’s Barbican Centre. BIFA president Sir Peter Bottomley MP, alongside BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty presented the finalists their certificates.
The full list of awards and their winners is: Environment Award – Samskip; Project Forwarding Award – Panalpina World Transport; Special Services Award – Schenker; Staff Development Award – Unsworth Global Logistics; Air Freight Award – DSV Air & Sea; European Logistics Award – Freightex; Ocean Freight Award – Estuary Logistics; Young Freight Forwarder Award – Jenifer Taylor, Santova Logistics; Supply Chain Management Award – – Allport Cargo Services.
