Redsun Projects has submitted a planning application for the second phase of development at its 22-acre AVIATOR industrial and logistics scheme in Ellesmere Port, in the North West.
Proposals are for two units of 200,000 sq ft and 80,000 sq ft. The move follows the successful letting of the company’s 125,000 sq ft speculative warehouse to Survitec Group on a 20-year lease just after reaching practical completion.
Nick Wightman, director at Redsun, said: “There’s a chronic shortage of good quality stock in the region and the quality of the product we’re delivering at Aviator, not forgetting its proximity to the motorway network, will make these buildings highly attractive to both occupiers and investors.”
Previously known as Hooton Park, Redsun purchased the site from Homes England in 2017. This first phase occupied 7-acres of the site and the second phase sits on 15 acres.
Legat Owen and Knight Frank are joint letting agents.
