A warehouse scheme that could accommodate a single unit of 300,000 sq ft in North London has been brought onto the market by LaSalle Investment Management through property agents Glenny and Cushman & Wakefield.
The 26-acre site to be known as URBANLOGISTICS.LONDON, fronting the North Circular, at Edmonton, North London can accommodate up to 500,000 sq ft in total. The first phase will include the opportunity to provide the only 300,000 sq ft building within the North Circular Road together with a 86,000 sq ft unit fronting the main arterial route.
Andrew Derry, development director, LaSalle Investment Management said: “This site is a somewhat unique proposition given its strategic position on a major arterial road with superb access to central London markets.”
Joint letting agents Cushman & Wakefield and Glenny comment that ‘‘while there are a number of sites coming forward for development within the region, none are capable of delivering the size within such close proximity to central London and with such high road profile as proposed at URBANLOGISTICS.LONDON”.
The 300,000 sq ft facility will have 25 dock and four level access doors as well as a 50m yard depth. It will have 117 car parking spaces as well as 34 HGV spaces. The smaller unit will have sic dock and two level access doors as well as parking for 66 cars.
Development Manager for the scheme is Fairacre with Bilfinger GVA as planning consultant. The architect for the development is Michael Sparks Associates and agents are Cushman & Wakefield and Glenny.
