Ultra-urban industrial investor and developer Bloom is developing two industrial schemes in London that will align with the Paris Agreement on climate change.
The developments are located in Greenwich and Camberwell and are being carried out by Bloom as part of its £250 million ultra-urban warehouse joint venture with Angelo Gordon.
A five-unit scheme totalling 35,864ft² will be developed at Greenwich with completion expected in the first quarter of 2024. In Camberwell, Bloom will develop a 52,500ft² multi-let industrial estate on a 1.25-acre site at 61 Lilford Road close to the A2, A23, A215, and South Circular roads. Construction is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2023.
The designs have been developed in line with technical screening criteria set by the Green Technical Advisory Group to demonstrate alignment with the Paris Agreement, a global commitment to limit global warming to below 2° Celsius. The developments are targeting a BREEAM sustainability rating of ‘Excellent’ and an EPC rating of ‘A+’.
