Owner, manager and developer of European logistics real estate Logicor has announced the completion of a 112,000ft² extension to a distribution centre occupied by retailer B&M in Runcorn, Cheshire.
Planning was secured for the extension in December 2022. It is hoped that the extension will ‘support the growth of the occupier’s business in the North West’.
The site now has 455,000ft² of ‘premium space’ which includes new yards, new loading provisions and an additional 32 HGV parking spaces.
Charlie Howard, Managing Director at Logicor UK, said: “We’re delighted to be continuing our long-standing partnership with B&M and are pleased to be able to support its ongoing growth at Runcorn.
“Our collaborative approach to asset management has allowed us to live up to our commitment to act responsibly and make significant sustainability improvements.
“With resilient demand for modern facilities in prime locations like this, we’re committed to continuously improving our warehouses, delivering quality, sustainable spaces where and when our customers need it.”
