Boohoo Group, the fashion retail conglomerate that owns brands including Boohoo, BoohooMAN, Nasty Gal, Burton, Dorothy Perkins, and Misspap amongst others, has today [15 Feb] announced that all of its online retail brands will now offer delivery to what3words addresses.
Geocode system what3words divides the world into 3m² sections, each with a unique three-word code. This allows very precise locations to be identified and, in this case, delivered to.
This follows the recent announcement that DHL will begin accepting what3words addresses for parcel deliveries in the UK.
Boohoo Group’s online customers can now add a what3words address in addition to a street address in their account profiles and at checkout.
Chris Sheldrick, co-founder and Chief Executive of what3words, said: “Time rarely moves slower than in the hours and minutes spent waiting for an exciting new purchase to arrive, which makes it even more frustrating when the delivery driver can’t find the right door, or when your order ends up with your neighbour. Adding a what3words address at checkout ensures drivers know exactly where to deliver, getting packages to customers as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
