Boughey Distribution, part of the NWF Group, has fitted its 226,000 sq ft warehouse in Crewe with an adjustable pallet racking system with 35,500 new positions.
Boughey took a 12-year lease at Panattoni’s Crewe Commercial Park in December 2019, with AR Racking subsequently fitting the adjustable pallet racking system on the site which has a top beam height of 12.4m.
AR Racking said he total warehouse investment was approximately €2 million (£1.79 million).
Danny Earp, Operations Director at Boughey Distribution, said: “Budget and timescales aside, this project was made all the more demanding as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Remarkably, the project was still delivered safely and to plan, and warehouse operations commenced on schedule.”
