US-based industrial real estate company Bridge Industrial has won planning consent for Bridge Point Uxbridge, its first UK development.
Planning approval for a single, detached, 50,315ft2 warehouse was given by Hillingdon Council last week.
Work will start on the 2.30-acre site in the second quarter of the year with the demolition of the existing office building upon vacation of the current tenant in May. Completion of the project is scheduled for Q1 2023. Savills and Cogent Real Estate  are joint letting agents.
Bridge acquired the Uxbridge site in July 2021 – along with a site in Barking – following its launch in the UK in November 2020. These site acquisitions were preceded by the purchase of what will become Bridge Point Southall in May 2021 and followed by two further transactions in Croydon and Weybridge.
Paul Hanley, Bridge’s London Partner said: “We are continuing full steam ahead with the planning process for our four other current development projects within the M25.”
Bridge is actively pursuing land and development opportunities throughout Greater London, the South East, and the West Midlands.
