British soft drink producer Britvic has announced the extension of its contract with Wincanton as the company’s supply chain partner for the next 10 years.
The two firms have a long history of working together, with this contract taking the partnership into its 40th year, having began in 1994.
Wincanton will ‘continue to provide storage and distribution services for Britvic, which is home to brands including Robinsons, J2O and Tango, in the UK’.
The deal, Wincanton says, will allow Britvic to benefit from ‘Wincanton making a significant investment in automation to increase productivity, capacity and capability at Britvic’s national distribution centre in Lutterworth, Leicestershire’.
