Mark Cassie has been appointed as interim managing director of Menzies Distribution.
Forsyth Black, who is currently managing director of Menzies Distribution is moving to take over as managing director of Menzies Aviation.
Cassie is currently the company’s distribution operations director. He joined the Menzies Group in 1984 fulfilling a number of leadership roles and for the past four years has been operations director.
The moves follow the resignation of group chief executive Jeremy Stafford, who is leaving the business for personal reasons.

In a trading update the group said trading had continued to be in line with forecasts and the board remained confident of meeting expectations for the full year ended 31 December 2015. At Menzies Aviation, contractual negotiations with its major customer at London Gatwick Airport had been satisfactorily concluded.
