CBRE and Savills have been appointed on a major port-centric logistics and manufacturing site by Associated British Ports at the Port of Hull.
The site has potential quayside access to the Port of Hull via a dedicated road and rail link.
The Humber International Enterprise Park (HIEP) comprises of 468 acres and includes 212 acres of port land that has Enterprise Zone Status, being situated within the Humber Freeport Tax Assisted Zone.
The site also includes renewable energy in the form of the UK’s ‘largest’ commercial rooftop solar array.
“HIEP offers huge potential to support business growth for those looking to base themselves in the Humber. Port-centric manufacturers would have easy access to import and export commodities whilst benefiting from the Humber Freeport status. The development area is also close to the A1033, providing access to the A63 and M62 motorway,” said Simon Bird, ABP’s Regional Director for the Humber.
This development is the first of a tranche of 14 sites, of more than 1,000 acres of development land, that ABP has brought forward to support the UK’s supply chain, manufacturing, and renewable energy sectors.
