Plans for the extension of Tritax Symmetry’s Central M40 Business Park are set to go before councillors this week.
The developer is looking to build two further warehouses on an adjoining 30 acre plot which will be known as Central M40 Business Park Phase 4. The two facilities will total some 298,000 sq ft and will have an eaves height of 15.75m.
The Central M40 Business Park currently has eight units.
Unit nine would have 125,991 sq ft of space with parking for 120 cars and 17 HGVs while unit ten would have 170,037 sq ft of space with 125 spaces for cars and 38 for HGVs.
The proposals go before both South Northamptonshire Council and Cherwell Council I the next two weeks.
A South Northamptonshire council document published ahead of the meeting said: “It is considered that on balance, the proposal would result in sustainable development.”
