CEVA Logistics is introducing a range of ground and rail services from China to Europe, announcing today a new train-ferry service from Xi’an, China, to Immingham in the UK.
The company’s weekly multimodal train-ferry service from Xi’an to Immingham via Kaliningrad, Russia, will provide additional freight capacity for shippers amid unprecedented demand for transport and logistics services.
Trials for the service will continue throughout May, with regular services beginning in June of this year.
CEVA Logistics is continuing to develop additional block train connections to expand regular China to Europe connections, including Spain, Italy, and France.
The company’s block trains provide responsive logistics services between Asia and Europe and serve the growing need to balance delivery time, cost, and more environmentally ‘sustainable’ transport.
