CEVA Logistics has partnered with Decathlon to distribute the company’s sport’s products in Thailand.
The fleet of three electric vans and two electric straight trucks are supporting Decathlon’s growth in Thailand while reducing annual CO2 emissions by more than 100,000 kilograms.
The ground fleet at the outset in 2021 was composed of one electric van and three conventional diesel trucks.
The new fleet is expected to operate 5,500 trips per year totalling approximately 900,000 miles, including the pick-up of products from local suppliers, delivery to the Decathlon distribution center in Samutprakarn and moving merchandise into the nationwide retail network.
Decathlon’s retail presence in Thailand now counts 14 experience stores and eight click & collect locations.
