Ceva Logistics has opened a 120,000 sq ft global distribution centre for industrial spare parts in Born, the Netherlands.
The centre is comprised of 28,000 bin locations and 30,000 sq ft floor storage in the warehouse, and a yard of 4,000 racking locations and 45,000 sq ft floor storage. It will provide full service, including inbound unloading, receipt and put away; outbound picking, packing and loading, and inspection.
Bart Beeks, managing director for Ceva in the Benelux, said: “We are very proud to add another global spare parts facility and additional companies to our customer base. It emphasizes our expertise in the spare parts business as well as our capability to provide global coverage for multinational companies.”
The facility is near an existing Ceva multi-user site in Born.
