Chinese e-commerce fulfilment provider Super Smart Services has snapped up two Midlands sheds.
The two warehouses totalling 280,354ft2 in the Midlands are from real estate asset manager and investor Logicor.
The company has taken a long-term lease on Worcester 163, a 163,170ft2 industrial and logistics unit, which fronts Junction 6 of the M5 motorway. Over in Lichfield, Super Smart Service has taken a long-term lease at Lichfield 117, comprising a 117,184ft2 logistics and industrial unit adjacent to the A38.

Harris Lamb, BNP Paribas and DTRE are joint letting agents for Worcester 163. CBRE and Avison Young are joint letting agents at Lichfield 117. Super Smart Service was represented by Avison Young.
There has been plethora of units snapped up over the last 12 – 24 months by Chinese logistics companies with Super Smart Service being one of the biggest and acquisitive of players – it occupies some 1 million ft2 having secured 400,000ft2 of space in 2020 and a further 300,000ft2 in addition to the space at Lichfield and Worcester so far this year.
Super Smart Service has so far targeted modern high bay warehouse units with 10m eaves mostly in the Midlands.
