The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, alongside the Geographical association, has put forward a suite of logistics and transport resources for schools and other educational environments. The scheme has been put together to ‘raise the profile of the profession’.
The collaboration has designed eight lesson plans with accompanying material.
Commenting on the launch, Kevin Richardson FCILT, Chief Executive, CILT, said: ‘Working with our partners, the Geographical Association, we are pleased to be able to offer these resources to schools and the education sector. These resources will enable us to promote the vast and varied opportunities available in the logistics and transport profession to the younger generation and encourage more young people to choose a career in logistics and transport.’
