Colgate-Palmolive has topped to the Gartner Top 25 supply chains for the first time ahead of Inditex, Nestlé, PepsiCo and Cisco.
“Colgate-Palmolive’s strong financial performance, combined with its focus on an aligned organisation and impressive work in corporate social responsibility, helped drive the move up from the fourth position in 2018 to the top spot in 2019,” said Gartner VP Mike Griswold.
Unilever, which has been in the top five for the past seven years has been moved up to join the “masters” category alongside Apple, P&G and McDonalds.
