The shortlist for the 20th Anniversary Supply Chain Excellence Awards has been unveiled – and it highlights the outstanding work that has been done by supply chain professionals over the past year.
And all the companies that have made it though to the presentation stage deserve to be congratulated.
There were more than 120 entries for the Awards this year – even more than last year’s record.
Every year, the standard of the entries seems to go up and this year is no exception. There was clear evidence of a determination to implement best practice in all the entries, while innovation was also apparent. So making it to the shortlist is an achievement in itself.
In the next stage of the process, which takes place over a four week period in September and October, companies are invited to make a presentation to a panel of judges made up of senior supply chain professionals.
I’m looking forward to it. In the meantime, I would like to congratulate all the companies that have made it to the shortlist.
