Kevin Savage, Chief Operating Officer of Delivery Mates, will be speaking at Logistics Manager’s ESG Industrial and Logistics Conference in London on 15 June 2023.
Delivery Mates describes itself as a sustainable a logistics provider, operating a fleet of scooters for express deliveries.
Savage will give a presentation on ‘how Micro Hubs are needed to support the decarbonisation of last mile transport’. This will cover how Micro Hubs can lead to reduced congestion, emissions, and costs while allowing for the redevelopment of underutilised property space within cities in a post-Covid world.
In his current role and with significant experience in supply chain and logistics across multiple sectors, he brings a unique perspective to the challenges in city logistics. He is currently running a number of operations that are driving changes in order to meet environmental and social responsibility challenges within last mile deliveries.
With previous experience working for companies like Amazon and DHL, and more recently SMEs who are disrupting ‘the norm’ with innovative and sustainable solutions for customers, Savage is positioned to give a balanced view. His experience in supply chain and logistics will provide valuable insight into the rapidly changing world of sustainable logistics.
The ESG Industrial and Logistics Conference is a one-day face-to-face event that will allow industrial and logistics property tenants to learn how they can leverage their property to help them with their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies.
