Crossflight, the courier, mail and logistics provider, has acquired the business and assets of Global Options Worldwide Express Limited, which provides delivery services for the financial sector.
Heathrow-based Crossflight had sales of more than £20m last year and EBITDA of some £2m. Chairman Richard Stoughton said: “Crossflight and Global Options are both principally B2B service providers with an outstanding record of service excellence; this acquisition strengthens our businesses significantly and provides both customers and staff with advanced and cohesive quality and care that we believe is hard to rival.”
“It was important for us to find an extremely high-level operator in the UK who would acquire Global Options” stated Eddie Meyer, managing director of Global Options and chief executive of South African parent company Globeflight. “This deal ensures that our customers will benefit from the highest standards achievable.”
