Glen Davies will be taking an associate role within CILT to lead on special projects in the fields of freight transport, city logistics, environment and safety.
Davies has more than 30 years experience in both operational and strategic logistics roles and has a track record of delivering projects and programmes that have stimulated some pioneering industry change.
The institute said he brings a wealth of experience in urban freight policy, operating standards and professional development that will further develop the Institute’s strategy and output.
