Stoford Developments has completed construction of a new electric vehicle (EV) charging park at Exeter Logistics Park near Clyst Honiton in Devon in the South West.
The 415-space charging park has been developed adjacent to the 90,000 sq ft unit that was leased to Amazon in September last year as reported by Logistics Manager.
At the time the developer described the new tenant as an ‘international online retailer’. Amazon was heavily recruiting for staff in the area.
The park is equipped with 100 EV charging stations and has the infrastructure in place to become fully electric in the future. Features include a new jet wash system, sustainable urban drainage systems, with permeable paving and bio retention pits, and a new attenuation basin to discharge surface water.
The 18-week project included an extension to the existing estate road and associated infrastructure works.

Exeter Logistics Park is part of the second phase of a 55-acre industrial scheme at Hayes Farm, owned by the Church Commissioners for England.
Exeter Logistics Park benefits from major improvements to nearby Junction 29 of the M5 motorway and the construction of the Clyst Honiton bypass, providing access to Exeter International Airport and opening a corridor linking the Science Park, Skypark and Cranbrook as a prime opportunity for economic growth.
