A planned weeklong strike on 18th December 2015 by DHL Marks & Spencer drivers was cancelled. The supply chain delivery drivers, serving Marks & Spencer at DHL’s Long Eaton depot, accepted DHL’s pay offer before the busy Christmas period.
The drivers, who were United Road Transport Union members, had called for an improved pay offer from their employers on the Marks & Spencer contract.
A spokesperson from DHL said:
“We are pleased that drivers at Long Eaton have accepted our pay offer and the threat of strike action was averted ahead of the peak Christmas period.”
