DHL Express has announced the opening of a new £5.5m service centre in Newquay.
Covering 2,250m² (c.24200ft²), with the new site is projected to handle over 5,200 items every week.
The new facility is carbon-neutral and benefits from solar panels, LED lighting, and low-use water appliances and will offer EV chargers for staff and visitors.
Additionally, a new customer reception will provide consumers and businesses with direct access to DHL Express services, enabling the collection and sending of parcels directly from the new site.
DHL Express Service Centre manager Lee McMahon said: “We are delighted to be expanding our services with the opening of this new service centre in Newquay.
“This investment showcases our commitment to providing more efficient delivery services to customers across the region, helping to support local residents and businesses on their growth journey”.
