CM Downton has expanded its operations with a office block and warehouse in Gloucestershire.
The new office is on Waterwells Business Park, a mile from Downton’s Quedgeley warehouse and less than three miles from the company’s main headquarters in Moreton Valence.
Downton’s administration and sales ledger teams, previously based at Quedgeley West, will shortly relocate to the site.
The company has also taken on a 47,000 sq ft warehouse on Ramsdale Road, Tuffley, which will help it service new contracts and manage the growth in business with existing customers.
Finance director Richard Downton said: “We have seen a significantly uplift in orders and new contracts in 2015, so knowing that we are in the position to grow our core central teams and possess the necessary warehouse space is important to ensure we can continue to provide the highest levels of service to our customers.”
