DP World is sponsoring the Retail Innovation Award at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards, looking for projects which deliver real benefits to the supply chain in a constantly changing industry.
The winner will be announced at ceremony the on the 5th November 2019 at the London Hilton on Park Lane hosted by impressionist Rory Bremner.
DP World London Gateway, the UK’s most integrated logistics hub, comprises a state-of-the-art, semi-automated, deep-sea container terminal and Europe’s largest development space for warehousing and distribution facilities. Opened in November 2013, the port is one of the fastest growing container terminals in the world – handling goods arriving into the UK from every corner of the world. It features the UK’s longest container rail terminal, which provides links between UK, European and Chinese destinations.
The Logistics Park, being developed in close conjunction with the port, offers retailers, manufacturers and logistics services providers a unique opportunity to establish warehouse and distribution facilities on a flexible basis across 9.25million sq ft of land in South Essex. A team of in-house industry experts are well positioned to collaborate with all of those working in the supply chain, to extract maximum value from the options that such an integrated site can bring.
