DSV Road has launched a daily double-manned road service from its northern hub in Manchester to its northern European hub in Waddinxveen, The Netherlands.
The service departs at 9 pm from both hubs and with no driver rest time required and therefore less stopping time, the service is faster and can offer a higher level of protection and security.
DSV also pointed out that with less opportunity and with two pairs of eyes, the double manned approach can help to and from Holland to prevent “clandestines” gaining access to the lorry and causing any damage to the load.
