Parcels and logistics company DX is adding 3.5 tonne and five tonne delivery vehicles to its fleet which offer better fuel efficiency that existing vehicles.
According to DX, the 3.5 tonne vehicle produces 15kg less CO2 emissions, while the 5 tonne produces 23kg less.
It has also put new security features into place for its existing vehicles – including remote tracking and cut off, which coincides with its addition of FORS (Fleet Operator Recognitions Scheme)
“With increasing demand for our secure services to both residential and business addresses, it is important that our fleet remains fit for purpose and efficient for the future,” said CEO Petar Cvetkovic.
“Our recent investment sits alongside our ongoing commitment to FORS and will provide the capability we need to continue growing in an efficient and sustainable manner, while being as environmentally sensitive as possible.”
