Wholesale electrical distributor Rexel has partnered with Gophr, a last mile delivery provider, to launch a new delivery service that it calls Rexel Rapid.
Rexel Rapid has been set up to deliver products in under 90 minutes to customers within five miles of one of over 200 Rexel branches in the UK. For now, the service will only be available to those near one of the 16 branches in London, but plans are in place to expand Rexel Rapid nationwide in the future.
As Rexel largely serves tradespeople, the launch of this new, faster delivery option, intends to meet demand for urgent supplies to be brought to sites, allowing work to continue as soon as possible.
