Entries are now open for the first-ever Supply Chain Excellence Awards MEA, to be held at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers on Monday, May 26, 2025.
Following 29 successful editions in the UK and USA, which have set a global benchmark for best practices in supply chain management, the event is expanding to the Middle East and Africa (MEA) to spotlight notable achievements and innovations within the regional industry.
Supply Chain Excellence Awards MEA welcomes submissions from end-user organisations and solution providers, such as 3PLs and consultancies, with an emphasis on partnerships and collaborative achievements.
“The event aims to recognise exceptional achievements, reward best practices and highlight the importance of innovation in the sector, said John Thornton, editor-in-chief of Logistics Manager, the official publication of the Supply Chain Excellence Awards.

The independent judging panel, known for its rigorous evaluation process, comprises experts with more than 750 years of combined experience, providing entrants with invaluable feedback. Judges confirmed so far include:

Categories include sector-specific awards such as the Food & Drink Supply Chain Excellence Award and Public Sector Supply Chain Excellence Award, along with significant categories like the Air Cargo Operator Award, which recognises exceptional commitment to service in air freight, and the Supply Chain Hub Award, celebrating ports and free zones that provide optimal platforms for logistics operations.
Additional awards focus on practices such as the Supply Chain Innovation Award and Digital Transformation Award, covering areas from visibility and efficiency to sustainability and technological advancements. ”
These categories collectively address key elements driving success and innovation in the MEA region’s supply chain landscape,” added Thornton.
The evening itself will feature a welcome drinks reception, a three-course dinner and the awards ceremony, before concluding with entertainment. The event will be held the night before IntraLogisteX MEA, which runs from May 27-28, 2025, at the ADNEC Centre.
