Europa Worldwide Group has acquired some of the trade and assets of end-to-end fulfilment and warehouse management service Menzies Response an undisclosed sum.
Menzies Response will join and strengthen Europa’s warehouse division.
Included in the purchase is Menzies’ Rushden Northamptonshire warehouse and PCI compliant contact centre in Ashford, Kent. The contact centre will be rebranded as a Europa Contact Centre.
“The Menzies’ assets are a perfect fit with Europa Warehouse and our aim is to strengthen, develop and grow the business,” said Europa managing director Andrew Baxter. “Europa Warehouse will take over the existing customer base and 90 employees, with business continuing as normal.”
Europa is confident that now is the right time to expand and believes it has the right skills and ability to grow the Menzies Response business, added Europa warehouse director Maria Torrent-March.
